The defender of the Islamic doctrine, Imām Abū Ja`far Aḥmed ibn Muḥammad ibn Salāma Al-Tahāwī wrote a treatise exposing the tenets of faith [`Aqīdah] precisely outlining the fundamental beliefs of Ahl al-Sunnah wa ’l-Jamā`a based upon the Qur’ān and authentic, established narrations. Though it is concise, it contains in it a wealth of foundational tenets that are essential to the system of belief for every Muslim. It has remained as the foundational work within Islamic theological academia for greater than a millennia and the reference point for a number of commentaries.
This present commentary is brought forth by the ‘Ash`arī master Dr. Sa`eed Foudah who has worked on this publication for a number of years, now realized in a beautiful 2-volume binding.
